CBD is just one of over one hundred cannabinoids that make up the cannabis plant. These various cannabinoids react in different ways with the human endocannabinoid system through both the CB1 and CB2 receptors in our bodies. CBD on its own does not typically induce a psychoactive effect or “high” feeling in users despite a plethora of benefits reported by users. Many report CBD is most effective when mixed with THC, a phenomena known as the “entourage effect.” Research is being done each and every day on the benefits of CBD and its accompanying cannabinoids!

Hemp is defined federally and by the state of Pennsylvania as the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any viable part of that plant, with a delta-9
tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.

Full Spectrum products contain all of the cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, including CBD, CBG, Δ9-THC, THCA and more! As mentioned earlier in this FAQ, these cannabinoids work together with each to produce what is called the “entourage effect.” This is when all of the compounds from the cannabis plant work together, often creating a synergistic, stronger effect than when using these cannabinoids by themselves. Many of our customers report a better experience using Full Spectrum products due to the synergy of these different compounds.

Our Broad Spectrum products contain only isolated CBD. Δ9-THC, THCA and other cannabinoids are not present in these products. Our Broad Spectrum products are great for those who may be sensitive to THC, or are concerned with drug screening for THC. Broad Spectrum products will not produce the entourage effect that our Full Spectrum products offer.
